Why I'm doing this
If you’re here, you’re probably searching for something real: confidence, clarity, connection, and a way to live with more purpose as a modern man. I get it, because that search shaped my life too.

I grew up in poverty in South Africa during the 1990s, a volatile period marked by political upheaval, social unrest, and a government culture that was often militant in tone and action. Against that backdrop, I faced neglect, bullying, and trauma. Later came a near-fatal car crash, and battles with depression and anxiety. For years, survival was the goal. But over time, through therapy, education, and deep inner work, I discovered how resilience is built, not by pretending to be strong, but by facing what hurts and doing something with it.
Masculinity, as I experienced it, was rigid and unforgiving. I had to navigate identity through a lens that never quite fit. That gave me a unique perspective on the pressures all men face: how we’re shaped, how we suffer, and how we can grow when we finally stop pretending.

That’s why I wrote Be a Badass Man. It’s not just a book, it’s a guide built from lived experience. It’s for any man who’s ready to let go of outdated ideas and start building a life defined by strength, integrity, and emotional intelligence.
My mission is simple: to help you do the work to become the kind of man the world, and you, can be proud of.
Thanks for being here. I hope this helps you.
